Currently there are 20 conditions (6 pilot + 13 Enteric + Parkinson’s Disease) available to author in the RCKMS Authoring interface. Users can author at anytime, however, CSTE provides a suggested authoring schedule. During the suggested authoring period, CSTE provide live office support hours. For assistance outside of the suggested authoring period office support hours, users can reach the RCKMS team by submitting a ticket (see link on the right side of the screen).

Authoring Period: August 19 – October 25, 2019:
- Authoring on the RCKMS production environment for the Enteric group and Parkinson’s disease will begin August 19 – October 25, 2019. The authoring schedule provides an opportunity for jurisdictions to author up to 20 conditions (6 pilot + 13 Enteric + Parkinson’s Disease*).
- As a reminder, in the Content Release 2 (July 2019) there are some updates to the default specifications for the pilot conditions (Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Pertussis, Salmonellosis, Zika and Hepatitis C). The updates will also be available in the Authoring Interface on August 19. Be sure to review the details of the Content Release and plan to make any necessary during the authoring period.
Authoring Support Hours:
- We will provide authoring support hours (office hours) during the second week of each the authoring group. Each session will be one hour in length. Attendance is optional but feel free to attend any of the provided sessions as needed. During these sessions, we will answer your questions on the designated conditions for that authoring group.
