Content Release 12 available in RCKMS
Greetings RCKMS Users, On Friday, August 16, 2024, 13 new Birth Defect and Infant Disorder conditions from the June 2024 Content Release (Content Release 12) were added to the RCKMS Authoring Tool. Additionally, updated versions of 112 previously released conditions were made available for jurisdiction adoption. Updates include the addition of timeboxing, pregnancy rule updates, and updates to age-related criteria, including the addition of user defined patient age for selected conditions. With this release, there are now 226 conditions (93 nationally notifiable and 133 non-notifiable conditions) currently available in the tool for authoring and jurisdiction use. Content Release 11 available in RCKMS
Greetings RCKMS Users, On Thursday, April 4, 2024, 3 new conditions from the February 2024 Content Release (Content Release 11) were added to the RCKMS Authoring Tool (Invasive Cronobacter Infection Among Infants, Congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV) infection and disease, and Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome). Additionally, new versions of 103 previously released conditions were made available for jurisdiction adoption. With this release, there are now 213 conditions (93 nationally notifiable and 120 non-notifiable conditions) currently available in the tool for authoring and jurisdiction use. Spring 2024 RCKMS Office Hours Series
Greetings RCKMS Users! The Spring 2024 Office Hours Series will be held on April 9th, April 25th, May 7th and May 23rd at 3-4pm ET. On April 4, 2024, 213 conditions will become available for authoring in the RCKMS tool, including the addition of 3 new conditions in Content Release 11. For each Office Hours session, reviews of specific condition groups will be covered. In addition, Session 1 (April 9th at 3-4pm ET) will include an overview of the Timeboxing Version 2 template. As a note, all versions of new and updated conditions will be using the Timeboxing Version 2 template. For more details and specific information on which conditions will be discussed at each session, please check out the attached RCKMS Office Hours Schedule.
RCKMS Off-Schedule Content Release on October 6, 2023
Greetings RCKMS users: Ahead of the anticipated respiratory disease season, the National eCR team is pleased to announce an off-schedule RCKMS content release with updates to the conditions listed below. The primary updates for these conditions are the addition of timeboxing rules, updates to reportable condition trigger codes (RCTC), and updates to SNOMED condition codes. In addition to updating the existing conditions, Reporting Specifications for two new conditions are now available in RCKMS, resulting in 210 conditions available within the RCKMS Authoring Tool. Greetings RCKMS Users! Please note some upcoming important dates: Thursday, June 1 at 3-4 pm ET: RCKMS Educational Session – Timeboxing Use Cases The RCKMS Administrators will present an educational session to prepare users for the upcoming initial release supporting timeboxing in RCKMS. During this session, we will walk through specific eICR scenarios to identify how timeboxing will impact reportability to public health. Please join us! Thursday, June 8 at 3-4 pm ET: RCKMS Office Hours Session – Timeboxing The RCKMS Administrators will hold an Office Hours session to train users on the upcoming timeboxing feature in RCKMS. This session will include an overview of how timeboxing works, along with a demonstration of timebox-related changes in the RCKMS Authoring Tool.
